The Poconos

We finally made it to the Pocono's this weekend to spend time with my parents in their new trailer. Dom and my father took a trip on the quad....you might enjoy this pic of my father's helmet.....cute ????? and even Nick got a ride on the quad.....im sure he wanted to the driver and not the passenger as he didn't want me to take his pic. We got to sight see and relax. We toasted marshmellow and even got to see my father's neighbor pee in the morning right outside his trailor....it was just spectacular....while i was drinking my morning coffee.....lol......
The we headed to the trout hatchery and both of our sons had major issues with touching the fish that they caught....besides the fact that our tackle box needed a makeover as i was told that my hooks are big enough for whale catching......

And of course you wont see any pictures of me because it was just a figment of my imagination that i was even in the pocono's as I am in none of the photos ........hint....hint.....family and husband.....!

Doing your life over
Last week I was in the hair salon getting my hair cut and was eavesdropping on the women next to me.....(its always interesting to hear what people talk about with their stylists.....as i have experience in this when i did nails...) so the client was saying "only if she could know what she knows now back then.....she would have done everything different and been a totally different person"......(mind you the woman has kids). This got me to thinking would I and my answer didn't even take 1 second to know that I would not do anything different (except gone to college much earlier). Had I been able to redo my life I would not be the person I am today. Even coming from a divorced woman - I still wouldn't re-do my life as then I would not have had my beautiful son Dominick. I have always been told that things happen for a reason and at the time I never liked that advice....now I am a firm believer that there is a reason for everything. Had I never been through a rough marriage and divorce....I would have never met my husband John......through this I was able to realize what a great guy he is.....it sometimes takes having a not so good thing to realize what a good things is. I thank god i was able to mature enought to realize it! I think most trials and tribulations throughout life leave us with a meaning....except when it comes to health issues and death ......im still trying to come up with the lesson learned from my whole horrible kidney experience......maybe DRINK WATER...lol as my mom always says..... So my question to you would be would you redo your life and if so what part?
